What are your hours?

We are open 7 days a week. Please refer to our home page for detailed hours of operation.

Are reservations necessary?

Reservations are recommended so we can set aside seating and guarantee a table for your party. We take reservations up to 6 months in advance.

Are gift cards available?

Yes, Gift cards are available! While we do not currently sell gift cards online, you may request them by filling out our contact form, or you may simply order them by calling us at (860)445-5686.

How many people can your hibachi tables accomodate?

The hibachi tables can accommodate a single diner at a shared table, up to 10 gueasts at one private table, up to 19 guests at 2 facing private tables and we have a private room equipped with hibachi tables that seats up to 36 guests.

Can guests order sushi at hibachi tables?

Yes. Most guests order sushi as an appetizer at the hibachi tables.

Can guests with food allergies be served at the hibachi tables?

Guests with shellfish allergies should alert their server so the chef can take special precaution and prepare the non-shellfish items first.

Do guests at the hibachi tables need to order from the hibachi menu?

The majority of guests sitting at the hibachi tables should be ordering hibachi items. We require a minimum of 75% of hibachi table guests to order from the hibachi menu. For example, if there are 4 guests in a party at the hibachi table, at least 3 guests should order hibachi items. If there are 10 guests in a party at the hibachi table, at least 8 guests should order hibachi items.

Is sharing allowed at the hibachi tables?

Please, no sharing. We do offer a children's menu for guests under the age of 10.

Can we order hibachi items at the dining tables?

Yes, hibachi items may be ordered at dining tables. Please note that they will be prepared in the kitchen.

Do you have a private room for catered events and large parties?

Yes, we have a private function room that seats up to 36 guests for large parties, catered events, birthday parties, corporate events, birthday parties, wedding showers and any other special event you should choose to host with us. Please feel free to contact us for information on hosting your event here at Koto.

Do you offer takeout and delivery?

We do offer takeout 7 days a week for lunch and dinner. Unfortunately, we do not deliver. Orders for takeout may be placed by calling (860)445-5686.

Does your restaurant use MSG?

No. We do not use MSG on the premesis.
